Mission Statement

It is the mission of Zavalla I.S.D. to create responsible, effective adults through education students in a safe environment. Education should provide for all children and youth the experience, which will make possible their physical, intellectual, emotional, moral, social and civic development. Zavalla I.S.D. will accomplish this mission by focusing on the increasing ability in the areas of student development, organizational efficiency, and accountability.Upon completion of Zavalla I.S.D. each student should, to the best of his ability be proficient in communication skills, basic math skills, social studies application, natural and physical science, health and physical education. In addition the students will have been provided the opportunity to develop social and personal relations, an appreciation of cultural heritages, worthwhile use of leisure time, and career awareness and occupational skills enhanced by technological literacy.These experiences should enable them to meet life situations to the best of their abilities and to become responsible, intelligent, and productive citizens of democracy.
